Scholarship Awards Financial Aid Private Funding

Massage Institute of Maryland
The Massage Institute of Maryland is offering four $1000 scholarships through the Maryland Association of Private Colleges and Career Schools (MAPCCS). These Scholarships are available to High School Seniors. Applications are available from your high school guidance counselor or at http://www.mapccs.org/scholarships.html.

There are financial aid programs to assist students who want to further their education beyond high school.

Sallie Mae SLM Financial Program
Massage Institute of Maryland has been approved to work with the Sallie Mae SLM Financial Program. What this means is that you have an opportunity to finance your education at MIM with a Sallie Mae's SLMF Career Training Loan. Because SLMF works with students, they are aware of the challenges of financing education at the same time you are training for employment!

State of Maryland
The State of Maryland has an extensive array of financial aid programs in the form of grants, scholarships and other awards for students who want to further their education beyond high school.

Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Student Grants Program
Awards may be given to enrolled students who complete and submit a FAFSA form and meet financial aid requirements. This award may be received twice.

Maryland Higher Education Commission
Funding for training is provided to eligible individuals through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Individual Training Accounts (ITA). Contact a Local Workforce Investment Board (LWIB) "One Stop Center" to receive employment counseling and determine your eligibility for WIA funding. LWIBs are generally administered by the county or region in which you live. Follow the link to determine the location and phone number of your LWIB.

Legislative Scholarships
Senatorial and Delegate Scholarships are awarded by the individual legislators. Use the link to determine your Senator and Delegates. Contact them for application instructions.
